The Range Sports Area consists of three Ranges -- Archery, Shotgun and Riflery -- which are operated by 3 Range Officers in accordance with the Boy Scouts of America standards.

The merit badges of this area are extremely difficult and require proficient skill. Previous experience is probably necessary if a Scout expects to complete either badge in one or two weeks. We make every effort to provide Scouts with the opportunity to gain this experience.
